lyrics

Peering from behind those curtains I seen the frame and what it contains
Smoke and reflections of the outline and what can change
Hope and intentions of a glare from the shine and a stare into the rain
Pain and pleasure
Poverty and abundance
Sunset and sundance
Alive with one chance
To turn that glance into an all-out paralyzing witnessing
Observer to the stars
Constellations connected the individual to something larger like of an author to the author
No telling to what the picture can harbor
It’s found in a picture’s worth
The only drawback is the dedication needed to depict the search
Split from the first Atom, Eve is left to grieve over never reaching a complete state
If I might awake, might I see the shapes
So clear and opaque
It’s the fears that make me hesitate
I might drown in the lake, might break the frame in trying to tame the conclusion and aim
To bathe in a lake of absolution and maim the image

Second act is to play and interact to break the fear
Inching closer to near sighted slowly shedding afraid like the coat when spring begins
Breathing in and out as the passenger follows the route
Swallow dyslexic the wind is headed north threaded and weaved to leave a trail of imprints
Indecently exposed to the environments and enriching an idea of enlightenment
Hide the scent for no one is to know when the illusion’s been born and died
Pried conviction from the grips of uncertainty to take another step reassuringly
Asserting the will
Imposing the action
Inserting the motive
Appearing before the mirror
Imagine the sands that’s made as the same sands of time
Looking blind with the nonexistent lens is impartial
Opened one eye to find the image shattered and died

The experience of loss is great
Weather overcast or sunshine I miss my companions
Should I pick up the pieces in an attempt to piece this puzzle
Or become entranced by one fragment and the subtle shades it portrays
Might I self destruct and place the blade to the skin
Can I contemplate the life within to stay forever lost in a world of reflection
Am I to find perfection in this setting though the shards remain
Or step away from the broken mirror hoping the image clears as the surroundings become clearer
Staying resolute in gaining higher definitions hollowing the core
Emptiness remembered burning embers rekindle the flame
Reigniting the frame turning sand to ash to be swept away by the breeze
Sacrifice belief in a brief glimpse of understanding
That the world is made up of illusion treasured inside the chest of a dream
